Bluetooth Mirrors — Are they worth your money?

Bluetooth mirrors are the next step in bathroom audio technology. The days of poor reception and poor audio quality in shower radios are gone. Even the Bluetooth shower speaker is now obsolete. Bluetooth bathroom mirrors are multifunctional and allow you to stream your favourite music directly into your bathroom. They also provide the same helpfulness as a traditional mirror.

A combination of a regular bathroom accessory and an audio solution not only saves space but also eliminates the need to install a new system. This is especially important if you are already in a renovation phase that makes it difficult to add another system.

What is a Bluetooth mirror?

A Bluetooth mirror is a mirror that does all the same things as any mirror but with a few extras. These extras' are useful as a bathroom mirror.

  • Built-in de-mister
  • LED lighting

For example, all Bluetooth mirrors we carry include the above. However, because they are Bluetooth mirrors, there may be additional features that vary depending on the manufacturer and make.

You can find a digital clock on certain Bluetooth mirrors, such as the Prisma LED Bluetooth Mirror. This mirror is an excellent example of what can be described as a pure Bluetooth mirror experience. It combines stereo sound with a modern, clean bathroom mirror.

While there are some mirrors that offer more, they can be quite small and space-saving. Not all Bluetooth mirrors provide stereo output or other extras.

Bluetooth mirrors: Are they any good?

Objectively, yes. Obviously, yes. Sometimes, extra functionality can make the difference between usefulness and unnecessary excess. Bathrooms are not ideal for those who have items that need to be charged. Water and steam do not get along with power sockets.

If you want to charge your toothbrush or electric razor in the bathroom, then special sockets are required. If you don't have a bathroom or didn't plan for it, you won't be able to charge them in your bathroom.

There are Bluetooth mirrors with outlets that can be used to plug in your toothbrush or shaver. These mirrors are far more useful than regular Bluetooth mirrors.

Both options are equally good in terms of functionality. The differences between them are more cosmetic than functional so it's a design choice. They are subjective in terms of 'being good' but it is based on their form and function.
